Community Information

Lacombe is located approximately 25 km north of Red Deer, the nearest major city, 125 kms south of Edmonton and 150 kms north of Calgary right off of highway 2/2A.  During the event, teams are responsible for their own travel, meals and accommodations at the event.  Lacombe has so many things to do, see and experience for families, parents and fans in our historic downtown and surrounding area.  From unique shops, museums, murals, trail system, movie theatre, swimming pool, indoor batting cages, axe throwing and so much more!  Lacombe is also home to the World’s Largest Fishing Lure and the Len Thompson trout pond.

Lacombe is known to be a foodie destination and offers many places to dine including our local favourites Leto’s Steakhouse, the world famous Cilantro and Chive, Milly Oak catering, Tollers Bistro, Eastside Eatery, the Broom Tree Cafe, the Gluten Free Bakery and Cafe and many, many more!
